Government of India has initiated this scheme for prevention of female mortality rate among the society. We adopted this pattern and conducted BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO rally on 27-02-2019 from Miraj Medical Centre, College of Physiotherapy, Wanless Hospital, Miraj through Gandhi chowk and Shivaji chowk. The aim of this event was to make the society familiar with women empowerments, understand the significance of women in society, prevent or arrest the female foeticide. The students of third year BPT College of Physiotherapy Miraj Medical Centre, Wanless Hospital, Miraj performed a skit in Gandhi chowk on HIV Awareness. The skit was emphasized on HIV transmission, staging, prevention, treatment to generate awareness in the society.
